“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’”
John 14:6

According to the wisdom of this age, pluralism reigns. There are no absolutes. Every claim to truth is seen as equally valid. At best, ultimate truth is considered mere opinion; at worst, truth itself is said not to exist.

But our Lord Jesus declares otherwise. He is no pluralist. In fact, He is profoundly exclusive. He does not merely speak truth—He is the truth. All truth finds its source and fulfillment in Him, for He is Lord over heaven and earth. Jesus Christ reigns over all things by virtue of who He is and by the reality that He created all things.

“For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
Colossians 1:16–17

By God’s saving and sanctifying grace, may our minds and hearts come into deeper alignment with the heavenly host, and may we boldly and joyfully proclaim the truth with unwavering conviction:

“And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, ‘To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.’”
Revelation 5:13
