Who is like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high, Who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth?

Psalm 113:5-6

No god compares to the one true God, the God of the Bible, reigning supreme from His heavenly throne. All other so-called gods are mere shadows—carved into wood, etched in stone, or conjured in the fleeting imaginations of humankind.

He is described as the “…only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen (1 Timothy 6:15-16).

This God, high and lifted up “…humbles Himself to behold the things that are in heaven and earth.”

Unlike the lifeless idols of human creation, which demand protection from those who craft them, the God of the Bible draws near to His people. No matter who they are, where they stand, or what trials they face, He meets them with unwavering presence.
