Adult Studies
Sunday School Adult Studies Youth Missions

Community Baptist Church currently has the following Bible Studies on a regular (weekly) basis:

ADULT STUDY
The adult Sunday school class is going through a study of the book "Faith in the Face of Apostasy" by Raymond B. Dillard, focusing on the lives of Elijah and Elisha. The goal of the class is to see how their stories are used to point us to Christ and in general how to read the Old Testament in a Christ-centered way.

COLLEGE / YOUNG ADULTS
The college and young adult study group meets on Thursday nights at 8:30 pm. They are currently going through an overview of Redemption.

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY STUDIES
The Thursday morning study is now focusing on "The Christian Faith: A Systematic Theology for Pilgrims on the Way" by Michael Horton. All are invited to join this study! We meet from 11:30-12:30 on Thursday mornings. Another group meets at 4:15 pm Sunday to this book.

On The Literature Table:

FREE GRACE BROADCASTER
The new issue of the "Free Grace Broadcaster", a quarterly digest of classic Christian sermons and articles is now available at the back table. This edition is entitled "Self-Denial."

THE HAND OF GOD
The Hand of God, a publication from Wycliffe Bible Translators

TABLETALK
The newest Tabletalk magazine is now available at the back table. Tabletalk is a monthly publication of Ligonier Ministries, which combines a timely topic with daily readings to encourage in-depth Bible study. The February issue is entitled "Love Never Fails."

BIBLE READING CALENDAR, by Robert Murray M'Cheyne
It is a concise course whereby one can read through the whole Bible once a year - with the Psalms & the New Testament twice. The tables have two separate columns; one for family readings and one for private [in secret] readings. M'Cheyne's Calendar was highly recommended by famous preachers such as Charles Haddon Spurgeon. In John Stott's "Between Two Worlds" he expresses his gratitude for having been given M'Cheyne's 'Bible reading calendar' (p183).
